ELEVEN SPORTS NETWORK has signed a multi-year agreement with Fighting Spirit to expand its offering of mixed martial arts (MMA) and kickboxing for fans in Poland and Belgium.

The network will showcase LIVE and EXCLUSIVE coverage of MMA’s M-1 Challenge and Enfusion Live: The World Championships of Kickboxing in Poland until the end of 2017, while viewers in Belgium will be able to enjoy a jam-packed summer of LIVE M-1 Challenge and Enfusion Live events through the end of September.

The M-1 Challenge series has been providing live events since 1997 and Poland has a long tradition of producing top-level fighters including former heavyweight champion Marcin Tybura and recent challengers Marcin Zontek and Michał Wiencek.

Fans will be able to follow one of Poland’s best kickboxers, Rafal Dudek, in the Enfusion Live series, which will also feature Belgian Mathieu Kongolo. The next Enfusion Live event, Edition 39, takes place this weekend in Zilina, Slovakia, on Saturday 23 April, with M-1 Challenge 66 scheduled for Friday 27 May in Orenburg, Russia.

“The popularity of fight sports is ever-increasing and these rights are a fantastic addition to our already diverse portfolio,” says Danny Menken, Group Managing Director, ELEVEN SPORTS NETWORK. “We recently showed M1-Challenge and Enfusion Live in Poland and enjoyed very positive feedback, so I am sure the fans will love hearing this news. Showcasing new and exciting action-packed sports like MMA and kickboxing expands our appeal and shows viewers in Belgium and Poland they can rely on ELEVEN for compelling and world-class sports entertainment.”

As part of the agreement signed with Fighting Spirit, the exclusive distributor of M-1 Challenge and Enfusion Live broadcast rights, viewers can also enjoy footage from up to 25 of the most exciting M-1 Challenge matches from the archive.
